Seller Declaration

What you confirm when you publish a listing

Before every listing is published, you must affirmatively check a box confirming the following declaration. We record the exact wording accepted, the version of our Terms & Conditions in effect, the timestamp, and your account — this page explains what that declaration means in plain language.

I confirm that the information and photographs in this listing are accurate to the best of my knowledge and that I have the right to sell the listed product. I understand that buyers are responsible for independently verifying the listing and that the platform is a listing and connection service.

In practical terms, as a seller you are confirming that

• You own the item, or otherwise have the legal right to sell it.
• The listing is accurate — brand, perfume, size, remaining amount, condition, price, and any photos genuinely represent the item you're selling, to the best of your knowledge.
• The item is not counterfeit, stolen, fraudulently obtained, or otherwise prohibited — see our full Prohibited Items Policy.
• Your photographs are your own, of the actual item, and not copied from elsewhere or used to misrepresent the product.
• You will deal honestly with any buyer who contacts you, and you understand that Perfume Marketplace is not a party to, and has no involvement in, the sale itself.

Your responsibilities beyond the listing

• Taxes and legal compliance. Any tax obligations (such as income tax on the sale) and compliance with any law applicable to selling the item are your own responsibility, not [Legal Entity Name Pending]'s. The Platform does not collect or remit any payment on your behalf.
• Shipping and carrier rules. If you ship an item, you are responsible for complying with your courier's or carrier's policies — for example, perfumes contain alcohol and some carriers restrict or specially handle flammable liquids.
• Honest dealing. Misrepresenting a product, refusing to honour an agreed sale in bad faith, or engaging in fraudulent conduct violates these Terms and may result in your listing being removed and your account being suspended or banned.

What happens if a declaration turns out to be false

Listings and accounts found to violate this declaration — including counterfeit, stolen, or knowingly misrepresented items — are subject to removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban at our discretion, in addition to any liability you may have to the affected buyer or under applicable law.
