Prohibited Items Policy

Listing a prohibited item will get it removed — and may get your account banned

The following are never allowed on Perfume Marketplace, regardless of price, description, or disclaimer in the listing itself.

Counterfeit and fraudulent items

• Counterfeit, fake, or replica perfumes represented as genuine.
• Products with fake, altered, or reused batch codes, boxes, or seals intended to misrepresent authenticity.
• Fake or altered receipts, invoices, or proof-of-purchase documents.
• Listings that use photographs of a different item than the one actually being sold.

Stolen or unlawfully obtained goods

• Any item you do not have the legal right to sell, including stolen goods.
• Items obtained through fraud, chargeback abuse, or other unlawful means.

Misleading or unsafe listings

• Materially false descriptions of brand, condition, remaining quantity, or authenticity.
• Items that have been adulterated, contaminated, decanted into non-original containers and represented as original, or are otherwise unsafe for their intended use.
• Testers or retail-exclusive bottles not disclosed as such.

Other prohibited content

• Listings for anything other than pre-owned or partially-used perfumes (this is a perfume-only marketplace).
• Content that infringes a third party's trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights.
• Listings, messages, or profiles containing hate speech, harassment, threats, or sexually explicit content.
• Attempts to use the listing or messaging system for spam, scams, phishing, or to direct users to external payment schemes designed to defraud them.
• Anything illegal to sell or possess under Indian law.

Reporting a prohibited listing

If you see a listing you believe violates this policy, use Report Listing on the listing page and select the most relevant category — Suspected Counterfeit reports are given elevated priority by our moderation team. You can also contact us directly at grievance@example.com.

Enforcement

We may remove any listing that violates this policy at our discretion, without prior notice, and may warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts responsible for repeated or serious violations. See our Terms & Conditions for the full moderation and enforcement terms.
